Wilmette Auto Care is locally owned since 1989 and is your home for all your auto repair and maintenance needs. We are your European and Asian import auto specialists. We also service all domestic makes and models. Our factory trained and ASE Certified technicians have over 130 years of combined experience for your vehicle.

Meet Our Team
Peto and Dave took their love for cars to a new level in 2018 when they purchased Wilmette Auto Care. They both have extensive experience in the diagnoses, repair, and maintenance of automotive cars, trucks, vans, and SUV’s.
Together, they continue to service customer’s cars while bringing their own individual talents, experience, and ideas!
Peto Cardenas
Owner – ASE Certified
Owning his own auto repair shop is the culmination of 40 years of work in the auto repair industry with over 15 of those years at Wilmette Auto Care. His specialties include Domestic, European, and Asian brands.
Dave Hoyer
Owner – ASE Certified
Over 45 years of experience with 30 years in dealerships. His specialties include Domestic, European, British and Asian brands.
Max Sanchez
Expert Mechanic
Sanchez has been working on a variety of vehicles throughout his career of 25 years. He has been part of Wilmette Auto Care for 2 years, and he rounds out the team with his practical mechanical knowledge.
Valentina Cardenas
Secretary
Valentina is the friendly face behind the counter who will greet you with excellent service. She has exceeded expectations managing clients and statements with over 10 years of experience.
